BBQ Dry Rub & Taco Seasoning

This Christmas one of our clients gave me a homemade rub she uses as a present. It is awesome, that got me thinking, could I make my own? Sure enough, I found recipes for a few different rubs and seasonings that I want to share with you. Below are a BBQ dry rub and an awesome homemade taco seasoning. Happy Eating!!

 

BBQ Dry Rub

1/2 tbsp cumin

1 tbsp garlic powder

1 tbsp onion powder

1/2 tbsp chili powder

1/2 tbsp Cayenne powder

1 tbsp Sea salt

1 tbsp pepper

1/2 tbsp paprika

1/2 cup coconut crystals

a pinch of oregano and tumeric

 

Combine all these ingredients in a cup, shake it up, and rub it on your favorite piece of meat!

 

Taco Seasoning

2 tbsp chili powder

1 tsp onion flakes

1/2 tsp Paprika

1/2 tsp sea salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp oregano

1/4 tsp cumin

1/4 tsp Coriander

optional: 1 tbsp arrowroot powder

 

Mix it all up and use on some grass-fed ground beef or bison.
