Healthy Cookie Recipe

Who doesn’t love cookies? While they may be one of the yummiest foods on the planet, unfortunately, they’re a lot more calorie dense than people realize. Plus, who can only eat one cookie? After a few you can easily get 500-1000+ calories and negate the benefits of a couple workouts.

A few months ago, my wife Savanna was determined to find some healthy cookies.

After several batches, she’s refined her recipe to be the most delicious high protein, low calorie cookies that I’ve ever had.

.⠀ PROTEIN COOKIES no need to fall off track to get your sweet tooth fix. Whip up a batch of these protein cookies and you’ll be set for the week!! Perfect for that mid day sweet craving or late night chocolate fix .⠀ -⠀ ⠀ -3 scoops of protein powder (you choose the flavor). ⠀ -3 tbsp of gluten free flour.⠀ -2 tbsp of splenda.⠀ -2 tbsp of splenda brown sugar.⠀ -1 egg.⠀ -1/4 cup I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter -1 1⁄2 tbsp Enjoy Life mega chunks semi-sweet chocolate chips (Maybe more 🙂 .⠀ -1 1⁄2 tbsp Enjoy Life mini chips semi-sweet (Maybe more :).⠀ -1⁄2 tsp baking powder.⠀ -1⁄4 tsp vanilla.⠀ -1⁄8 tsp salt.⠀ -1⁄3 cup almond milk.⠀ •Makes 12 cookies•.⠀ Recipe adapted from @savanna_ray_ff .⠀ -⠀ Make sure to tag @faster_fitness in your recipes!! The Calories and Macronutrients For Each Cookie:

Calories: 69

Protein: 3.1

Carbs: 8.9 (About Half From Fiber)

Fat: 2.7

Cooking Instructions

 

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix the ingredients in a bowl, use a mixer to blend the ingredients into cookie dough.
  3. Spray cooking spray on a baking sheet.
  4. Place the cookie dough on the baking sheet. Spread the dough out into 2 inch wide chunks so they’re evenly distributed with room between. Next, flatten them out to get the classic cookie shape.
  5. Place in the oven and cook for 12 minutes.
