Wonder Woman stormed the comic world in 1941 with indestructible cuffs and a lasso that reveals the truth. She’s a character that has brains, beauty, and brawn. While comic racks were once dominated with muscular super-men wearing spandex, Wonder Woman came in to unsettle the boy’s club. And rightfully so. Young girls also need a superhero of their own to look up to – someone who can defeat the evils of the universe and save the world. Since her creation, Wonder Woman has gone on to inspire millions of women from all over to fight for a better world.

Be Strong and Confident

We currently live in a world where women are letting their voices be heard. They aren’t sitting on the sidelines. They are taking to the streets, the messageboards, and the classrooms, inspiring conversation and triggering action. While being strong in mind is always important, being strong in body is just as necessary.

Even Wonder Woman gets tired from the weight of the world resting on her shoulders. Life is hard. Work, school, parenthood, social commitments, can amount to a huge boulder that can be impossible to lift. But that is even more of a reason why you need to be strong in body. Getting through your day to day life is hard, but the energy that a healthy workout provides you with will make that heavy boulder of life a little easier to pick up.

When you’re not motivated to work out, there’s really only one solution: Show up anyway, and do the work. Call it discipline. Call it being a Wonder Woman. Call it a habit.
