How To Do Crunches Properly

Summer season is just around the corner. You’ve (hopefully) been working out, doing your crunches and eating pretty good. Now you just need to get those abs to look a little leaner.

You’ve probably heard the saying “Abs are made in the kitchen.” There’s a lot of truth to that. But it’s not entirely true.

I’ve seen many people who have pretty low body fat levels but very weak abdominal muscles, despite doing core exercises regularly.

In addition to making your abs look better, performing crunches properly will help you do the following:

  • Prevent back pain
  • Improve your performance on squats, deadlifts and other lifts
  • Improve static and dynamic posture, which prevents injuries throughout the body
